Salvation

Salvation

Becoming a Christian is not about becoming religious.

Rather, it's about coming into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

We believe that Jesus Christ, is the eternal Son of God. He became man, without ceasing to be God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished and fully completed our redemption through His death on the cross, making eternal life in heaven possible for anyone who places their faith in Him and His completed work.
He loved you so much, He was willing to prove it by giving His life for you!

How to have a personal relationship with Jesus...

To be born again means you must be saved. Anyone can be saved, at any time and in any place. How?

First you must realize that you are a sinner.

“All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

“As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one.” Romans 3:10

Because you are a sinner, you are condemned to death and eternal separation from God. Everyone is born into a sinful nature because sin entered the world through man with Adam. Sin is a defect inherited by all. God cannot exist in the presence of sin. Sin results in death eternally.

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death pased upon all men, for that all have sinned.” Romans 5:12

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23

God loved you so much He sent His only son, Jesus, to bear your sin, to suffer the separation from God because of that sin, and to die in your place. Jesus died on the cross so that He alone would bridge that gap that sin created between man and God.

“For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Jesus was buried and rose again on the third day, conquering the eternal death and damnation that sin held. He arose to Heaven where He sits on the throne as the arisen Savior. You can have eternal life through Jesus Christ.

“The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day rise again." Luke 24:7

“And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.” 2 Corinthians 5:15

God seeks for all to repent. By repenting, you agree with God that you are a sinner and that Jesus died for your sin on the Cross. You agree that you cannot be reconciled to God by your own account, by your works, but only by faith in Jesus Christ.

“…..but now (God) commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.” Acts 17:30-31

“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’ ” John 14:6

To be saved and born again, you must recognize that you are a sinner and believe in Jesus as the Son of God. Then you can lift your heart to God in prayer, confessing to Him that you know you are a sinner, asking His forgiveness and asking Jesus to come into your life that you may live for Him.

“That if thou shalt confess with they mouth the Lord Jesus, and shat believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9

“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:10

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13

Jesus is waiting to hear you call upon Him. All you need to do is decide to change your life, your way of thinking and living, to live for Christ. Once you have done that, simply call upon Him in prayer, something like this:

Jesus, I am a sinner. I repent for the life that I have lived in sin, not living for you. Thank you for taking the punishment for my sins by dying on the cross for me. I believe you are the Son of God, that you came to save lost sinners like me, and that you died and rose again to be seated as Lord and Savior on the throne of Heaven. I ask you to forgive me of my sins and ask you to be my Savior and Lord. I have decided to live my life to follow and serve you.
